The Nineteenth Annual Conference of the Haviland Collectors
International Foundation Hartford, Connecticut, June 12-15, 2008
Conference Hotel: Crowne Plaza
"Haviland in New
England", the HCIF Nineteenth Annual Conference, will be held June
12th - 15th, 2008, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Hartford,
Connecticut. A special room rate of $110.00 will be available
June 10th - 16th, 2008. A special pre-conference tour to the
Harriet Beecher Stowe and Mark Twain houses will be offered on
Thursday June 12, 2008. A luncheon will be served during your
tour to the two houses. The Mark Twain house does have
Haviland China. The Dessert Reception that opens the Conference
will feature nationally famous actor John Pogson as Mark Twain.
Featured sessions will include "Hand Painted Haviland" by Debby
DuBay, "Charles Field Haviland" by Nora Travis, and "Haviland in The
Porcelain Museums of Limoges, France," by Annick Moreau-Feunteun.
Registration Packets will be sent to members the last week of March.
Come early and stay after the conference to visit the fabulous
